i got a great deal on Polk LSI M707 , need you advice

MSRP is 4000$
i can get them for 2100$ (almost half the price)

what do you think about those pair?
i can get different model/brand in this price range that better then them?

i have the Yamaha RX-A2010
it's good enough for those speakers?
or should i sell it and by something else?
maybe pre + amp?

i care mostly for music quality
less for movies

Well, if you can get these things for half price....buy it.
....I don't even know why you would hesitate.

Seriously, even if you bought them and didn't like them, you could make money reselling them to someone else.

AND if you get cold feet, forward your deal over to me, and I'll pick those things up for that price in a heartbeat.

BTW: I'm running the full Lsi line in my HT and I'm perfectly happy with them. I would see no reason why the new speakers wouldn't be worth their price tag, and an absolute steal at half-price....

There are many, many speaker options if your budget is $5k. I'd suggest visiting as many local dealers, and then asking on the forum if anyone in your vicinity might be open to letting you hear their setup.

At the very least, listing a few brands that you have heard and liked would make it easier for others to post similar suggestions.

I don't know about the LSIM but are there not good deals on the original LSI's such as the 7, 9, 15? Those are 4 ohms but if you have the power they do sound great, 'high end' quality I would say.

the Flagship is LSM 707
and for the price i can get this model , i think it's better to get it and not the Lsi 7/9/15/25

If you're going to use the optical out - no you don't need a sound card, but you need a good receiver, possibly external amp too, depends on your speaker choice and expected use

In this case, I would take the Philharmonic 2 over the Polk with an "MSRP" of "$4K".

The Polk, like many other, may have an MSRP of $4K, but the parts may be only $500. A lot of markup.

The Philharmonic 2 are $2K, but the extrapolated "MSRP" is more like $6K.
The parts for the Phil2 are probably closer to $1200.
