I experimented for a year with my pair of 2-5s. As I wrote in post #2, I settled on one port, .3.

I love the HSUs but stepped it up this summer with DIY 18s in ported cabinets. It's been fabulous. Now the HSUs are crated in the closet - still trying to decide whether to sell them. They really are great subs.

Cool. Ya my theater room is fun but the living room is where the wood stove is so I setup subs and speakers in there finally. It’s a 3.2 system but I’m really pleased I can have great sound in both rooms. My old 55in plasma is in the living room so it’s nice in there.
