How hot does your RX-V2600 get?????

Fan control?

Hi, I also have the 2600 receiver and my receiver gets hot on the top after some time about(1hr) and then the unit will shut itself down. I would like to check the fan settings to see if it's set to auto or continious? I looked through the manual but I found nothing. Could you please tell me how I could check the settings for the fan controls.

Check your manual under "Front Panel Display Settings"
On my 2500 it's done manually at the receiver itself (no remote) by hitting the straight\effect button after holding down this button while turning the unit on. Don't know if it changed on the 2600 though.... - B

my 2500 geys plenty hot, especially when I push it loud for an extended period, but it's still ticking.

Just a note, the unit used to auto shut down about one to two hours when I had my HD Satellete (Dish 211) HDMI connected to the 2600? so far so good.
