You will not only want to look at how many people posted such things, but also those who "thanked" them for it.
My take was that they were joking and were being thanked for the laughs.

Are you saying that you grope people on the subway to find out if they are male or female?
Actually the thought was that there was a lack of concern regarding gender during an anonymous grope but that too is a joke.

Why so serious? We all love our wives ... except the guys currently going through a divorce ... a show of hands please?

It was meant in a tongue-n-cheek sort of way:eek:. Even if your relationship is soild, it really depends on how you say it. Answer her in a fun loving way she'll laugh it off, say it like you intended it, than its war.:)

Regards, Bill :)
My wife doesn't get angry with me if I tell her cold hard truths, particularly if she asked about whatever it is. If she were offended by such things, she never would have married me in the first place, as I generally am not one to avoid the truth in order to please people. In fact, it is one of the things she really likes about me, because she knows she can count on me telling her the truth. Lies are easy to come by, but someone willing to always tell you the truth is more rare.

Of course, being honest and having tact are not mutually exclusive; I don't make the mistake that started this thread (and I dare say, most likely, neither will he again). Sometimes, the best thing is to keep one's mouth shut.

Let's not overlook quality. When I lay down some doozy that I thought of at the drop of at hat and make it fly, it may look easy but that's only because I am a master. (Takes bow.)

Bullshit is an entirely different matter. To tell a lie you must know the truth. To bullshit some one, the truth really has no bearing. Once again, quality is paramount.

I thought we were talking about mistakes we have made. We made our apologies and learned to

Sometimes mistakes are funny. Nobody is condoning rude and insulting behavior. Are they?

Yep. Some more than others.

My sister in law told us a story about some old guy who decided he would lift up her burp cloth to see the baby she was holding in her lap... Of course, she was breast-feeding at the time...

Touching people (or their clothing) without their permission makes the mistake that started this thread seem almost like good manners in comparison. It is almost always much better to say something stupid than to do something stupid. Doing that sort of thing is almost asking to get punched in the face. If they did get punched for doing it, they would get little sympathy from me. What is wrong with people?
