I know Fedex or UPS has never done that for me. I commend AV123 on how they choose to have their stuff delivered.

Apparently, UPS is entirely unable to deliver speakers, seeing as they just destroyed Tomorrow's Aerials.

UPS dropped my Dali's with the box all torn up but thank god the speakers were intact. Fedex is nicer when it comes to delivering big packages.

Congrats on your Rockets. I got mine last week. Been trying to calibrated it to my satisfaction but I'm still a noob and haven't yet fully maximize the Rockets' potential. The 850 sounds amazing but my Big Foot and 450 as surround just haven't met its potential yet. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have an Onkyo 805.

These Rockets are extremely beautiful. I can not believe how beautiful it is in person. And how heavy it is....I moved them myself and had to re-arrange my whole living room.

Now, I am dying for my MFW 15. I was hoping to get the MFW 15 together with my Rockets to save shipping cost but it didn't happen so I guess another shipping cost is on its way when my MFW comes. So did you get the MFW too? Was rated very well on last shoot out.

Still, I wanted to be home when they arrived b/c the boxes are extremely heavy and didn't want my wife to have to deal with it, plus I had to sign like 5 forms saying they arrived in acceptable condition. Seeing as this was all me, I don't think the wife would have appreciated having to deal with it.

Understandable, you don't want to get THE LOOK, and afterwards THE FINGER...That would mean sending back the Rockets, and replacing them with Bose Cubes.

OK, I know several of you have been asking for pics, so here are a few. I haven't had a lot of time for critical listening yet. Basically, just pulled them out of the boxes and set them down. I've had to rearrange a few things and still working on getting some of my electronics together. I'll try to post a review soon, but here's at least a few pics to wet your appetite. Let me tell you that these pics could probably be alot better. They don't do justice to how gorgeous these speakers truely are, just remarkable for the price. Let me know if anyone has any trouble viewing them. Enjoy:

Yes, I'm very impressed with AV123. They have a sense of pride for their product, white golves are included in all the boxes so you don't get finger prints on them, a nice touch, and I've never received anything that was packed as well as these speakers were. These have to be one of the nicest looking speakers ive seen, regardless of price!

Gus, that would be a Newpointe surge protector/suppressor. The company, a newcomer to the industry, was trying to compete with some bigger names such as Monster, Belkin, and APC, etc. and was apparently not doing well. It's tough to compete against well established companies, and I believe the company was recently bought by Phillips. However, the unit is very well built, as good as any of the above mentioned companies. I picked it up pretty cheap.

I'll have to get more pics. It is my main living room and not too easy to work with, but it's the only room I have to work with. There is a walkway in the front, and a door in the rear, so placing the speakers has been difficult. I'm rearranging alot of things to try to make it work.

Yes, I got the 450's for rears since they were only $100 more then the other surrounds in the Rocket line. After adding the cost of stands, it wasn't much different in price, and the 450's are a much nicer speaker. Also, the 450's are a perfect timbre match with the 850's and 200 in the front. The bipole/dipole speakers and bookshelf speakers that are sold in the Rocket line actually use a different tweeter so technically they are not a true timbre match. Not that it's critical for surrounds, but still another benefit of the 450's. Plus, for muti-channel music, its definitely the way to go.

Sorry, didn't see this till now. No, i didn't get the MFW-15. It wasn't even out yet, when I purchased these. I'm still waiting on a sub, but I have considered a pair of MFW-15's.
