Yeah, that's exactly where I would get cheap and save the extra grand. 140 watts is plenty.That extra decibel and a half can go pound sand.

Rectifier should have a total of 4 diodes. If it were me, if I'm changing 2 diodes then I'm gonna go ahead and change the other 2 as well.

He did replace all 4 diodes in the rectifier. He showed me only the 2 (oval shaped) diodes that each had a small black spot (heat damage?) on them, but the other 2 (flat rectangular shaped) were also replaced even though they showed no visible defect. Sorry I didn't make that clear earlier.
