We know that, but it is incorrect and NOT a workable solution. You need a control unit ahead of the crossover otherwise your speakers and sub are not under synchronous control.
I can see that. The only thing I have ahead of the crossover is the CD player and the Rockville equalizer. I'm getting in a new amplifier on Tuesday, then I'll see how much trouble it is to raise or lower the subwoofer level as required. However, the crossover has gain control on both the subwoofer output and the high output, so that would seem to provide what's needed for the amps.
