Home theater speakers recommendation!

Hello members,

It has been a hot minute since I last posted anything. I am starting fresh with my home theater at a new pad. Receiver will be either the Yamaha RX-A6 or A8. I have always use Yamaha speakers like the NS-333 for satellites and Soavo-1 for fronts. I am branching out to different brand of speakers this time. Setup will be 7-2-4 Atmos. I was looking at SVS and Emotiva elevation series. Any recommendations are much appreciated. These are strictly for Movies. Thank you guys!

You sing Karaoke? What’s with the Yamaha mixer and microphones?

I also have a Yamaha mixer and microphones, so just giving you a hard time.

I assume you like the sound of your Yamaha speakers since you’ve had them for a long time. So are you changing for the sake of wanting something “new”?

Why Emotiva and SVS when there are so many other bigger brands available?

IOW, what’s the main reason for changing speakers?

BTW, I donated my Pioneer CLD-97 LD player to the Salvation Army; can’t believe you still have yours.

Hello brother, it has been awhile! I currently remodeled my house, I had no space for storage and I literally gave everything away to friends. The Soavos, NS-333s, RX-A3030, MX-1 x 2. Of course something will never be gone is my NSX-10000, CX-10000, MX-10000, YST SW1500 X 2 and the Pioneer. Now I am remodeling my other new pad and wanna try new speakers for movies since I will be using the NSX-10000 for music! I don't know much about any other brands so I am asking for recommendations since Yamaha doesn't make too many for Movies! Thank you man, and I still have my Yamaha Mixer! Hahaha
