I'd say ok deal, but: the seller should have the original microphone and MUST able to show the receiver works (aka with some speakers attached)

This might worth for you looking into:

and these two are older but very good units, especially yamaha
Yamaha Surround Sound Receiver
Denon AV Receiver

Honestly If don't get the yamaha would be loosing a great opportunity

Jump all over the Yamaha. Avoid the HTIB.

I emailed the guy with the Yamaha receiver and I'm hoping it's still available.
