I am new to this posting stuff so I'll just ask the question. I am in the process of building a new home and am doing a in home speaker system with a planned whole house audio setup. I plan to do this in stages and have had a local a/v type contractor install in-ceiling mounts for the speakers. He used Boston Acoustics NCBR5 mounts in a total of seven zones. One pair in the kitchen, one pair in the master bedroom, one pair in the great room, one pair in the loft and another pair in an outside screened-in porch. He also placed mounts for a single speaker in the master bath and one in the laundry room. He also wired an external fm antenna. All this wiring includes individual volume controls and goes to a central location. I have no idea what I need to drive this system (amp, receiver, cd, etc) and would appreciate any help or suggestions. I plan to have this same installer make recommendations, but would like to have options to choose from. Also, does anyone know if I have to use Boston Acoustics speakers with the NCBR5 mounts or will other speakers fit in them? Any help is gratefully appreciated. Thanks.
