Regarding my confusion about why people are selling great receivers with no HDMI when they could just buy a processor...

I know about room correction and this does not bother me, I will do "proper" room correction in the future.

What about HDMI switching etc. I really dont know much about this since right now all I have is a 2.0 system for movies and music.

If I run video via HDMI to my TV or projector, and use this Yamaha as a power amp for my surrounds with a good processor; what am I missing out on? Seems to me nothing is missing

er perhaps they are selling because they want Hi-Def lossless surround sound ?

I personally still have a 59TXi flaghsip as I can't afford the equivalent quality with HDMI :(
