I have a older Yamaha receiver, 5 Pinnacle speakers and a sub. I am thinking about selling them since I need the money now and moving soon. Where would be the best place to get rid of them? Also how would I go about pricing? Maybe someone can give me advice on how much they may be worth. The model numbers are listed below and they are all in great condition. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Pinnacle BD 1000 x 2
Pinnacle BD 300
Pinnacle BD 500 x 2
Pinnacle Sub 150
Yamaha RXV557

You could try audiogon and see if there are any others selling these to see what pricing.

As far as where, you could use audiogon, craig's list, or any local classified ad services.

There is a blubook feature on Audiogon.

You have to be a payed subscriber to access this feature (which I am not).

Hopefully someone here will chime in, here and look up the MSRP and average used prices for you and post them.

You are not going to get much for those. They were not well reviewed in their timeframe....I would ask for 200 for the set....

I should add that these prices may be a bit on the high side. This data is accumulated over the past years when these items were newer and before the economy went south.

Another question, should I sell as a complete set or should I sell separately?

Another question, should I sell as a complete set or should I sell separately?
I don't think there is a good answer to that.

Common solutions I have seen are:
a) give a discount if someone wants the whole package
b) list as a package and say in your add that you will sell as separates if you don't get a buyer for the package in 2 weeks
c) list items in separate ads (be sure to mention matching items in other ads)

No doubt, listing as separates will get some money in your pocket the quickest, if that is a concern.
