Help with mini system.

I am looking to add a mini system to our bedroom.
The dimensions are 15' x 17'.
I am not looking to blow the roof off and will be used primarily for CD and radio use.

What I am looking for is something slim and stylish. Something that can be placed on the bookshelf above the bed.
While money is always an option , I want something that doesnt look/sound cheap either.

It handles CD's, MP3 CD's, FM/AM radio, and can pull alarm clock duty. It comes with a remote and sounds awesome for its size, but is a tad pricey at $349.
