Paradigm Defiance V12 vs X10/X12

I need some help if you will.
I'm currently running a pair of Paradigm 800F's through a Denon PMA-800NE with Blue Jeans cables.
Sounds great.
However, I just have a generic 12ish inch Chinese sub I got from a family member for free.
It works but it wubs and chuffs.
For certain types of music this is fine but I listen to a lot of Classical music (DSD/FLAC via Astel & Kern player) with my favourite piece being some organ music.
Would I be seeing much increase in quality going from Defiance V12 to the X10/X12?

The Defiance subs certainly don't have that problem. However, it sounds like your present sub is simply broken.

Well it's not broken, I'm exaggerating a bit.
But how much would I be missing in quality/accuracy between V12 and X series?
