Help Playing MP4 on a PS3

Okay- so I'm having a bit of a problem here and I'd love some help. My wife made a slideshow w/ music using iMovieHD on our Mac which we've turned into a quicktime movie and posted on our website. I'd like to be able to play the movie on my PS3, which doesn't support *.MOV files, so using iMovie I created an MP4 file (MUCH smaller than a quicktime file anyway), but when I tried to play it in the PS3 the unit didn't recognize the file- it specifically called it an unsupported file type.

The file type I created was a H.264 MP4 using AAC-LC encoding for the audio. Does anybody know what specifications the PS3 needs to recognize an MP4? Would I be better off creating a different file format? I can also create a DIVX file, an AVI, or a Windows media file among others.

I dont know much about it but you can stream wireless or hardline to PS3 from WMP11. That's how I listen to most of my music and watch my slideshows.

I could do that, but the file is relatively large (it has video and audio) and I'd like to have the ability to take it with me to show to friends who also have a PS3.

I just dont much about that kind of stuff, I have a 500gb external hard-drive on my PS3 and all my music is stored there for critical listening and I stream from my computer when just "kicking around". I am certain that someone on here can help you.

Seems like I worked out the issue on my own. The first file I created must have been corrupt or something, because I recreated an MP4 with the same settings and it worked this time. Always works out that way doesn't it!!!
