I'm really not looking to scrap the speakers. I just bought 7 Polks... they were huge and expensive.
You just need to use your receivers built in equalizer, audysee and get or build powerful diy subs . I have a single 15” stereo integrity si ht 15” in my tiny bedroom it’s powerful enough for most living rooms .
Discontinued model the subs you mentioned are just as good along with better power handling .
