Help needed. No sound (Pioneer VSX 520 & Samsung Q6FN)

Hi guys,
I am trying to connect my amp with my Tv using HDMI and there is no sound. I have a Pioneer VSX 520 and a Samsung Q6FN. You can listen to the noise when selecting tuner(no antenna) so I guess the speakers are correctly connected.
I connected the HDMI to ARC HDMI out of the tv with the TV input of the amp. I change the settings to the tv sto the sound is transimitted through HDMI instead of tv speakers.
I reset the amp to factory settings.

HDMI keeps flashing

Any advice please?

Is your avr capable of ARC at all? Don't see any reference to ARC or audio return channel in your avr's manual. Just use an optical connection, same audio....

Thanks for the reply ! Yes probably you are right. I guess the only way to go is an optical fiber.
Any recommendation?

I shop with Amazon or Monoprice for cables. Never had an optical cable not work...
