Its the biggest stuff you can run that will generally fit in everything. Get banana plugs if you're constantly taking your equipment apart, or you're just striaght up baller. IBTL, SheepStar

Its the biggest stuff you can run that will generally fit in everything. Get banana plugs if you're constantly taking your equipment apart, or you're just striaght up baller. IBTL, SheepStar

For the system you're running, the 12 ga clear wire that is marked with a white strip on one side would be great. You can buy a 100 foot spool and be done with it. I like this speaker wire, Canare Quad Star 4s11. I use bare terminations and it is covered in tech flex. I bought these on ebay, I think these two 25' pieces were about a $100. I'm beginning to hear a drastic improvement in sound quality from my high-end, high-dollar monoprice cables. Yeah, that's right. And my tri-amping sounds a lot better than my bi-amping too. I can't seem to articulate the vast sound improvement, but it's there.

Did I tell you my experience with the banana plugs from monoprice? This is what happened. Okay, I installed a bunch of them. Then I plugged them into my amps. Initially, the fit was okay. But after I pulled them out just once, they became totally loose. The thin metal just didn't retain shape or something. Monoprice needs to sell the locking bananas.

I think the last time I saw of my 40-something monoprice banana plugs was when I had just finished uninstalling them and my 4 & 5 year old daughters were in the room playing with them. Click to expand... 3M Heat Shrink Tubing.....the TechFlex is pulled on to the cable, and then the 3M tubing is heat shrunk over the loose ends. It is a pretty hot set up. The red and yellow look should get all you married guys with it's high waf!

Not many Mordaunt fans on here....the 506 dipole surrounds are all I have left. I sold the 502 Fronts and the 504 Center. Nice speakers. They helped finance a step up the food chain.... The Canton L800DC's are so fine....I don't want to leave the sweet spot...
