Help buying rear surround speakers to complete 5.1

ok so i missed out on buying some Revel Concentra Series F12 for $600 or $700 but the sale is pending, in the mean time here is what i can get. I need to buy a pair of surrounds to make a 5.1 system.

Eventually I will buy bigger reference mains to make a 7.2 system, for now here is what i can get from a buy and sell website in my area, what d you think is the best deal.

It is always better and usually necessary to match the sonic and tonal qualities of all channels used for proper surround sound effects. All 3,5,7,9 channels / speakers are fed the same potentioal power and nearly the same programming under some circumstances of processing selection. Find your price for the whole set, divide by the channels you want driven by your chosen system and you know your price per speaker. Stay in the same tonal line. It looks like your building Definitive Technology so you may be able to vary form factor or size but your in the brand to get them sounding right.

Definitive Surrounds

I would add the Definitve BPX's to thelist. Can be had for $550 or less and i have had all of the definitive speakers inluding the BP2002, CLR2300 with the BPX as rears, awesome, asa matter of fact check this out.

I wouldn't get anything you have listed for surrounds.

And no, you don't have to have a whole matching set unless you listen to a lot of multichannel music. If you use multi-channel for movies and tv, but not for your music then matching the surrounds to the front soundstage isn't important.

I believe you are still going around in a circle, and for surrounds
this seems to be over-kill. If you desire to match your fronts, >
then go with Monitor Audio.

I listen to alot of multichannel SACD's as well as movies.

Multi-channel music would require a timbre matched set. Movies do not.

If you listen to a lot of SACD's then you'll want to match your surrounds to what you already have.
