Well..this is interesting, found out from reading other forums that the picture and sound cutting out is a problem with the handshake between the PS4 PRO and the breakout box for the PSVR, it only happens with the PS4 PRO, the solution is to install an HDMI switch with two inputs on the tv used to bypass the PSVR, thanks for all the suggestions but this is the only way to a fix other than disconnecting the HDMI cable from the PSVR and connecting it directly to the PS4 PRO, or... wait for SONY to admit they messed up and fix it.
