I have been to the factory and heard most of their current line of speakers spending most of the time listening/feeling their subs and towers. For the money the subs they make are great, tons of punch, accurate and they go low, but they take up some space. As far as their speakers go for the price they are a pretty good deal. I would say their biggest weakness is that they aren't the most detailed on the high end as other speakers in the price range. Also, if you get any eD speaker I strongly recommend not using the grill as they very poorly design and will ruin off-axis dispersion of the sound waves reducing sound quality greatly.
Right now if I was going to be spending about $500 on a pair of speakers I would consider them if looks weren't on the top of my list as all their speakers only come in a painted black. I would also look at AV123.com sales on rocket speakers as I think those would out perform the eD towers.
