Has anyone listened to the Axiom EP600 Sub

so what happened to your dd-18? didn't u consider dual subs? (both the 600 and DD?)

I sold the DD-18 . I do not have space for another sub unless I put it in the bottom shelf of my Entertainment Center and that would require modification of the cabinet. Much of my 7000ft3 is due to 20' ceilings. I have considered a second sub (EP500) but the EP600 is really doing what I need it to so...

I also like to keep the cost ratio of subwoofer vs. my main and center speakers to right around 30% for the sub (so much for the $1-2 dollar per CF theory ). It's just a number I made up but in my view most of the heavy lifting in audio in done with these three speakers. Not to discount the value of really good bass but that is where I like to put my $,$$$.

I believe the PB12-ultra2 wil outperform the Axiom in every way. It is about $200 more than the Axiom, but worth every penny. I think the PB12-plus2 has a slight performance advantage as well, though not as much, and the cost is only 1199, for the basic black.

I heard the ep500 and the ep600 could not be much different according to the specs,Id put big bucks down saying the svs pb12/plus would stomp all over it for sure.
