I saw an estimate of between $350 billion to $2 trillion which is a lot more believable than $500 trillion.... It should also be noted that only one member of the Rothschild family is included among Forbes’ 2015 list of the world’s billionaires: Benjamin de Rothschild, who was ranked at number #1121 with a net worth of $1.61 billion. Based on this, 350b-2t estimate seems way off the target, but even if total family worth is 2 digit billions, that's not exactly "poor"
