Have had dual PC-2000 Pro's on the radar for almost two years.
- Quick thanks to forum help from KEW, Pogre & Lemmerhirt, to name a few.

Presented SVS's upcoming $150/each price increase (love math) to my Lady ( of 37 yrs this month), and she said YES to ordering duals today.

No strings (aka diamonds), no twisting in the wind (what am I not seeing??). I nearly fell over!
They ship Monday. [emoji38]

New subs to replace a sealed SB-12 NSD (circa 2014) and a ported PB-10 NSD (circa 2007).

Sealed will stack on a like sub in 2-Channel rig (just cause I can).

Ported to go to an adult kid.
- Trying my best to gently lead at least one of them down the rabbit hole of audioholic addiction.

Cheers,
XEagleDriver

Congratulations!!!!! That is exciting for sure. Your system won’t know what hit it!
I have to learn math…then maybe I can use it MY advantage. Lol.
Seriously though, good for you. Of course you will be sharing new thoughts and such?

If I didn't live in a apartment I surely would go that route. Congratulations on your new Subs coming in!!

"Yippie Ki Yay MF" the wait is over!

Subwooferage math: 2 x PC2000 = one Binford 4000

Install & rerun MultiEQ this weekend!

I laughed when I read where the Ported one is going! Congrats on the new gear!

My wife had me doing a similar double take a month or so back when she told me to go ahead and buy a 75" Samsung 2021 QN85A Neo 4K Smart QLED TV when one of our 55 inch TVs died. Sometimes your better half can surprise you!

Still love my PC12+ 's that are about 8-9 years old now. My wife sometimes calls them Alien Towers but she does not want them to leave. This is the way!

(Congratulations!)

Step 2 Unboxing
- Rolling it out on its side worked best.

Step 3 Placement
- Left one is in place, right to follow. [emoji846]

Installed and dialed in both PC2Ks
(at least 1st round)

Which is preferable, EQ Subs using MultiEQ app or using PEQ on SVS app?
Do not have REW to specfically target room node freqs.

ATT, only using MultiEQ and not any PEQ on SVS app.

MultiEQ had me set L&R Sub Volume to -26 and -27 dB respectively to get "in the green" before continuing with tone tests. That is about 50% of the -60 to 0 dB available volume.

When finished, MultiEQ set relative L&R sub volumes down -6.5 and -7.0 dB.
For comparison, Mains at -1.0 dB, Center at -3.0, Surrounds at +3.5 (nearer) & +5.0 (farther).

Will listen test in daylight to see if this is about right or if it is a bit too low.

So many options. [emoji1787]

I would do straight room correction first, without playing with the SVS App.

Audyssey, ya? Do you have XT32 and the App?
