This is their measurements,(purple for S60) bright on top end and massive 3db dip in mid-range around 1khz, plus smaller, but more significant dip at 3-4khz.
shortly: It's mess. Calling them balanced and neutral is blatant misinformation. You may like their sound signature, but it doesn't make them accurate speakers.

"The S60’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +3.16/–1.97 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. "

The S60 is a 2.5-way tower speaker which might be a bit tricky to fairly measure, and that measurement is a (kind of) listening window. I would be wary of using that measurement to absolutely characterize that speaker's performance. We might be getting an S30 for review, as I am curious about how Polk has handled this product line. If so, you will get a more detailed look at these speaker's response, but it will be awhile before that happens if it does end up happening.

We have a review coming of the Dayton Audio B452-AIR and C452-Air speakers. It won't be too long before that should go live, if you are interested in ultra-inexpensive AMT speakers. After that, there will be a review of the RBH R-5 and R-515. Down the road a little later but we will have reviews of the SVS PB-4000 and Monoprice Monolith 15" THX, and some other subs that I won't name until later. The speakers I have in house right now I am very impressed by, but I am not naming those right now- but the preliminary measurements I have taken so far have really impressed me! I am very hopeful about these.

My apologies for my “misinformation”. When I stated “balanced” and “neutral” it was from a “by ear” perspective rather then a measurement perspective...but thanks for posting the measurements.
I've been there...when you hear a high quality speaker with flat frequency response and go back to the something like the s60...you'll hear the difference.
