Gas Station vs. Movie Theatre Marquee

It seems gas stations have entered the 21st Century in that the marquee out from is LCD / LED and the station can easily change the price of gas for the cars driving by. My local multi-plex theatre still has the old fashioned kind were someone has to climb a ladder and manually change the name of the movies being shown! You'd thing the multi-billion dollar movie industry would catch up with gas stations. :p

Seriously, I have no life.
Well, gas prices do change almost daily. :)
Theater shows can last many weeks and new ones come along on Fridays, mostly.
And, that theater does help by employing so many people. Gas stations do not. Now that person changing the sign is fully employed. :D

Oh, my local theater does have remote update capability high over the ticket windows.

My local theatre does not even show the time a movie runs! Gotta Google it!

A relic from the past? Is it a chain or a local owner?
