I'd like to get one of these for my father this year. No offense, but I think your price for this used AVR is high, especially now that the 661 model is out. I can get a brand-new, A-stock, fully warrantied Yammy 659 for $288 plus about $23 shipping. If you drop your price to between $200-250 including shipping, I might be interested.

Some google'ing and it seems this thing goes for $299. So my advice, keep the bugger, its a good amp, and will last you many years. You will definitly not get what this amp is worth...

EDIT: Why are you selling it? when you only bought it 6months ago?

I don't think it was part of his system. If you look back on his other threads you will see many receivers being sold, some are quite a bit better than the Yamaha.:)

I've enjoyed trying out a lot of receivers over the past year or two. The 659 was part of the system for a couple of months. It is a great performer with movies.
