Well wouldn't you be afraid? I mean if they start bombing your country with greasy french fries. They'll clog the nuclear reactors and create a nuclear holocaust. Wait the holocaust didn't happen.:D

Since the holocaust didn't happen, WWII didn't happen, therefore the Manhattan Project didn't happen, therefore there are no nuclear weapons and hence nothing to be concerned about.:)

Oh boy the French are using their "Firmness and Dialogue" attack, it is their most effective and aggresive tactic since Napoleon.:D

Actually, the allies didn't know about the holocaust until they invaded Germany... so WWII could still happen without it. I believe Hitlers Final Solution didn't come into affect until after the war started.

Thank you for the clarification. You did get that I was joking, though, right?;)

Hey Mr.Sheep,

In reality the Allies did know about the camps, as some had escaped before internment and had made it to other countries, also the Red Cross had smuggled out information about the camps, problem was the Allies couldn't really do much about it as there was a full fledged war in progress. The final solution started around 42 if memory serves, but by that time countless had been murdered.

As no one has yet posted a serious comment on this matter...I'll take a stab.

1) France's new President wants to be an ally of ours...that's a good thing, right?
2) The President went on to say the Iranian crisis "will only be resolved if firmness and dialogue go hand-in-hand." I believe he meant much by "firmness", without saying more. That is called diplomacy.
3) He then went on to say that it would be "unacceptable" for Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.
4) He then went further by elaborating on the US's role in this predicament and others...it is necessary.

How can some not understand diplomacy and the words of a diplomat?

We know now that Saddam bribed high-ranking officials in France, through the UN's oil-for-food program. All while the U.N. looked the other way.
So it's not hard to understand why some don't take France, or the U.N. seriously.

Understood and agreed. But we still have to try and work with them, or they will become our adversaries.

There's damn good reasons why France is taken lightly;)! However, JMO the United States would be better served this time around with as much backing from the UN and other Nations, in dealing with IRAN's holy war?:)

opp's John responded while I was typing my reply:eek:.

I got your back John.

France; It’s a good country and has / is doing allot of things right these days IMO.

Examples: France generates allot of its power from Nuclear Energy and "other" energy means. The French are not "as" dependent on oil as the US. The French are very ambitious in their alternate energy programs. Much more so then the US.

The whole Iraq thing..... The French didn't jump on the US Saber rattling with the whole WMD's, Terrorists training grounds, etc. The US immediately trash talked the French, turns out the French where right.

Then the French Culture, Woman, Weather = I like France
Disclaimer: I'm of Eastern Europe descent (Ukraine-Russian) 0% French

If our so-called President had listened to other countries, including France, instead of ignoring all advice, we might not be in this huge mess in Iraq right now.

In the list you forgot to mention the mighty attractive hairy armpits those French women have... lol.
That’s kind of true... but mostly "legend".

I live here on Long Island; and here we have Fire Island.
Fire Island has "their thing" but honestly it’s limited to a small area, small number of people, etc. But if you believed everything you’re told:rolleyes:

Manhattan is an hour away from my home. You will see everything at Penn Station. From Miss World, to Bride of Bigfoot……….. It’s all relevant

Here's the thing about French Woman; they age so (unbelievable) well
