I admit, I am quite looking forward to the season start in March.

Lewis in Red. Both Ferrari and McClaren ending last season with stronger teams/cars than Red Bull. How will Sainz do at Williams? Lawson in a Red Bull and can he stay closer to Verstappen, unlike Perez? Also curious to see how Antonelli does in a full time seat as opposed to the snapshot practice drives. Audi taking over Sauber and will there be a notable turn-around for the team this year or not.

A number of potentially interesting things that make it feel quite worth watching to see how they pan out this year.

100% agree. Ready to go. Injust hope we can get Andretti in with Cadillac. It is all BS that they want them to buy another team etc.

Carlos is still my guy even though Ferrari is my team. Just don't get it. Spend all that money on Lewis who MAYBE has 2 more years.

I think Ferrari can take the constructors title.....

Remember Nico Rosberg saying Lewis is by far the best driver he ever met, Nico was doing what he thought was a great lap, only to be bettered by Lewis, by 0.5 second ..... I think Lewis is insane, and I like his attitudes

I watched Carlos doing laps with gocarts... how he was driving..... OMG that is just way INSANE

I never forget when Verstappen crashed with Lewis and his car ended on top of Lewis .... he just runs away not even bothering to check condition of Lewis

Compare to Ayrton Senna, he saw Eric Comas crashing and jumped out of the car, risking his own life to save a fellow racing driver, probably saving Eric Comas´s life .... some different mindsets out there

Agree 100%. My level of appreciation of Verstappen has only decreased each year. He thinks he deserves more just based on the fact his car has been of higher quality. He is a great driver don't get me wrong but to me Alonso is our most recent great over even Hamilton et al.

Max is no doubt a talented driver, but I also generally really dislike him too. I think he's petulant and irresponsible and dangerous when pushed.

People level whining accusations at Lewis and the others too, and to some degree it is true. They all complain to their own advantage. With Max, it's different though. He's made several threats to other drivers and last season we got to see again what happens when someone catches up and challenges him.

They should look at some of the US NASCAR & IndyCar rules.
The F1 yellow flag pit lane rules are stupid.
In the US on many courses the Qualifying Start/Finish line is at the end of the back stretch, so the cars don't have to do a complete cool-down lap.

I've been quite happy with my F1TV subscription. All the races, practices, etc all streaming whenever I have time to watch them. Plus the back-catalog if you like. You even get the choice of the F1TV commentary team or the Sky team (which I do prefer). I have the more expensive Pro subscription, but there is a cheaper option if you just want to watch on a time delay after the race finishes (which I do most of the time anyways due to timezones).

My only complaint was I found it didn't stream cleanly on one of my HTPCs through the browser (fine on others though), so I use the app on my AppleTV boxes instead if I'm on one of those systems.

Last year, I watched on ESPN. They had the Sky Sports feed. They would show the entire race without commercials. But as soon as the trophies were handed out, they would switch to a rerun of any sport.
So no post race discussion.

How fast it goes in Formula 1, here with Nico Hulkenberg..... they test the Aston Maritin Valkyrie, full throttle, full madness

They come into that corner at 200 km/h (125mph) with perhaps the world's coolest sports car, then Hulkenberg says, In F1 we would probably do that corner at 280 to 290 km/h (175 to 180 mph)

I will miss Daniel Ricciardo, you can say whatever you want, but IMHO he really is a one-of-a-kind character ........
And then he can end up way down in the leaderboards, and still do the fastest lap in an RB Honda RBPT, amazing guy

He's an ultra cool guy....
