Forest Fire You Can't Fight

We've got relatively small fires close by, one 5 miles north, another 5 miles south, and each around 4000 acres. One is uncontained and is in really rugged country, the other also rugged country but 40% contained. Smoke last few days has been bad (but it does clear mostly late afternoon until next morning). We're expecting a heatwave with possibilities of new lightning too.....

I think the last comparo I heard about the Park fire alone, it was more than half the size of Rhode Island (which would be true land only, not quite if water is included.....LA city is 500 sq miles, Park now is 625 sq miles
