I definitely agree with AcuDefTechGuy. Try out the Aperion. It's a no cost if you decide to not purchase. The only downside is that you'll pay up-front first. Nothing unusual about that. I own the little siblings to the 633-Ts and love them (533-Ts, these have to have a subwoofer, additionally).
If Magnolia won't discount the price at all on the Klipsch, I'd be looking elsewhere. For the amount of speaker you are buying, they should be looking to make a deal. The Klipsch are nice. Just be sure you have to time to listen to them. Some people don't like their sound due to the horn tweeter. It can cause ear-fatigue and make watching movies difficult.
Since you're replacing a Bose system, you need to allow your self time to adjust to the new speakers. I'm assuming this is a cube speaker system (acoustimass). They don't image very well and are designed not to image very well. Bose is very upfront about this when it comes to their satellite speakers. They market it as an advantage. I don't think you'll find anyone here who agrees with that. I imagine that having poor imaging allows the maker to hide flaws in the speaker design (just a guess).
If you don't fully understand a little on imaging, here's a
site that has a quick definition.
This is from that site:
Imaging
Imaging describes the extent to which a stereo system reproduces the timbre and location of the individual instruments accurately and realistically. In a system with superior imaging, you should be able to close your eyes and envision where the instruments were positioned on stage, from right to left. Everyone who really appreciates music in an automotive environment cares about stereo imaging — from the casual enthusiast to the serious competitor.
You may not need to have a 5.1 setup consisting of all floor-standing speakers. Bookshelf speakers can offer the necessary performance for the rear speakers. This will free up money for improvements that will enhance the entire system. Having 5.1 tower setup is cool, it's just not necessary.
It also looks as if Aperion is revamping their line of speakers. I'd still give them a looksie and check it all out.
