Floor standing speaker recommendation

I would recommend the canyons over the ML40s. I have canton ventos and are great towers.

I looked at both the X1T and X2T, the binding posts look exactly the same as on my Definitive Technology Studio Monitor 65, 55, 45 bookshelf speakers. Wondering if the crossover is built by the same company in both brands (PSB , DefTech).

I wouldn't read too much into that. The components are usually made at a different facility than where the speakers are assembled. I have to believe binding posts are an "off the shelf" component and both companies felt that that particular binding post provides an optimal compromise between their common objectives:
1 Function Reliably
2 Appearance of Quality
3 Cost
