Christmas brought a new Sony HT-CT150 Soundbar & a Samsung BD-C6500 Blu-Ray Player.
This is my first attempt & I sure could use the help of some of you experts if you have the time & inclination.
I’ve set it up as per the instructions of the HT-CT150 along with my existing Pany TH-50P2700U HDTV.
Setup is as follows:
Sony Soundbar (HT-CT150)
1. Connected to Panasonic TH-50P2700U via HDMI Cable
2. Connected to Samsung Blue-Ray Player BD-C6500 via HDMI Cable
3. Connected to Suddenlink Cable STB Pace TDC 787X HD-DVR via HDMI Cable
4. Digital Optics Cord connected from STB to HT-CT150
Panasonic TH-50P2700U1. Connect to Sony MDR-RF970R Wireless Headphones (RF) via audio cable L/R Channels into Prog Out Connectors on HDTV
As best I can tell, all seems to function properly. Perhaps others here might want to suggest better options.
I have one issue that I don’t know if it’s setup correctly. I have a set of Sony MDR-RF970R Wireless Headphones(RF) that I use when I don’t want to disturb my wife when I’m watching TV or a movie on my player.
However, when my HT-CT150 is on, I can’t hear the sound in the headphones from the TV nor the Blu-Ray Player. If I turn the system off the headphones work fine.
Is this to be expected, or do I have something wrong (wiring or settings)?
Thanks for any comments.
