I lied...but only because I'm so old that I forgot. My first live concert was the Kingston Trio. Maybe '59 or '60. FIVE freakin' decades ago! Man....I think I ought to get a cane or a walker or something. This thread is making me feel ancient. :(

Hey Geno...let's go party at the retirement house.

Billy Squier at the Los Angeles Forum. The Signs of Life tour around '85. I was rockin' the rock back then but now I'm more Jazz and Big Band Swing. However I did see Ratt play the House of Blues in Anaheim this year. Never forget your roots..lol

The very first of many,JFK Stadium Philadephia PA. Headliner,Peter Frampton from the Frampton comes alive tour, opening act, The J.Geils Band, followed by this band, Lynyrd Skynyrd hot off the pronounced tour featuring Sweet Home and Freebird, then came Frampton but I will tell you Ronnie stole the show.1975 summer outside soldout I still have the tee shirt put away with the ticketstub, funny thing I was very young and not allowed out that day but my brother was my keeper for the day and he had three tickets so off we went. Here is another really interesting part,we lived in Cape May NJ 90 miles from the concert and no ride but just one 90 mile highway seemed too easy I hid next to a sign Welcome to the Garden State Parkway and he stuck out his thumb first car, older fat man going to work in philly,I ran out and wham one ride right to the stadium the guy smoked a big a$$ fat cigar the whole way I think the same one lasted that long.I remember like it was yesterday, man were we in trouble much later that night.

My first concert was Chicago when they were promoting their second album. Anyone remember "25 or six to four"? Talked my parents into letting me go with my older brother because they had horns in the band and my parents thought it wouldn't be a rowdy band. I think I was about 15. Good concert. Favorites still Genesis with Peter Gabriel on the "Suppers Ready" tour and "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" tour.

My first concert was rush and journey at the civic center. I think it was the 2112 tour. The show was standing room only. We go very close to the front row.:D
Wow! I never knew Rush ever came to WV! I've seen them twice in Pittsburgh, most recently 2007. Awesome as ever.
