Firmware Upgrade on Yamaha RX-V1800/3800

Does that same firmware upgrade fix the dts bomb? I wouldn't mind upgrading the firmware in my 1800, I just don't want to have to go back and reset all the settings. I also didn't know the yamaha couldn't pass btb, and wtw.

Most of the newer unit I believe have the firmware upgrade( I've checked mine)? He is also a member here, albeit not a regular. As for the AVS forum some of those threads are ridiculous and so hard to follow. The only issue with my unit is the fact that DTS HD-MA always appears in 7.1 even if the disc is only 5.1 and this is not the case in True DD.

I see now, I havn't being following that thread for some time!
