I have never had a pre-amp processor and amp. There is alot to learn. When I bought my Denon receiver I didn't look for pre outs or phono input so I regret buying this receiver. I am looking to get info on what to look for in the right pre amp and amp. Don't know much about multi-channel amps. Can I get a 3 channel amp and a two channel amp for 5.1 (sub would be powered of course) Or would it be better and more expensive to get a five channel amp?
