Finally hooked up my Aperions

Omni sound isn't for everyone, but if you like lots of sound all over, they're tough to beat. They won't image as precisely as a typical direct speaker, but they're not terrible at it either. If you have a BB with Magnolia nearby, it wouldn't hurt to give them a listen.

I had the Aperion 6T and 6C (Aperion's top of the line) and just did not find the impact I wanted in my movies. For music they were nice and smooth. But my speakers are double duty.

I do say that the customer service at Aperion was outstanding, the build quality was excellent but it just was not quite the sound I needed. They gave me no problems with the return.

My final choice: Revel Concerta F12 Towers, C12 Center, S12 Surrounds.

I have been very happy with the Revels and they make a small M12 monitor you might like. (well not that small)

There are lots to choose from out there, just be patient and listen. I have heard very good things about the Ushers

Yea, I live in NYC so I have to find a good place to go listen...anyone know of any good places..I'm in Staten Island if anyone knows where that i slol.

OK..those Jamo S606 would FIT in my room right in front of the TV really well..

They would be $430 with shipping..demo model with about 200 hours on them, mint condition.

I can get floor standing speakers that are no higher than 42"...and within the $500 range..any new recommendations?
