Planning on attending a couple of upcoming concerts. The Experience Hendrix tour with Kenny Wayne Shepherd and others this month and Robin Trower Later. That got me thinking about my favorite live albums. I immediately put on Live at Leeds by the Who. Too much talk about politics lately IMO. Let’s discuss music.

What are your favorite live albums?

Have you attended any concerts recently or planning on attending any upcoming shows?

I tend to watch videos of live concerts more than playing recorded live albums. Recently watched Depeche Mode: Live in Berlin.

Fleetwood Mac: The Dance is excellent as is The Eagles: Live from Melbourne. I saw an Electric Light Orchestra concert on TV a few years ago and they sounded as good on stage as in the studio. I think it was the Live at Wembley Stadium concert as this was around 2017.

Most of the ones I mentioned are blurays, while the audio alone can be good, I do like watching the show too. One of my favorite sources for on line streaming of videos are those from Zycopolis

My favorite band to see live is Kansas. I have seen them live three times. I also like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, whom I have seen ten times. Peace and goodwill.

Wow live show count....never really kept track. Used to work with many backstage or at least have passes for many major acts. I bought a lot of tickets too....was a much better way to go than just playing the vinyl in most cases ! :)
