Recently the analog inputs on my SR7015 have become intermittent or failed completely, no issues with the HDMI inputs at all, what is odd is that the 7.1 Analog inputs work fine.
Whats failed under Audio in assignable is: CBL/SAT, 2DVD, 3BLU-ray, 4 Game, 6 CD.
In addition the Phono input has the same issue as well as the AUX analog on the front of the unit.
Am not sure if it's a known issue or do I have dead unit.
I want to use the Phono input for my Turntable and the CD input for the CD out on my oppo.

How old is your unit?

That is two down now on this forum. It sounds to me, as if the switching analog IC has failed. The multichannel will not go through that IC.

The problem is, that repair now is by board replacement because of robotic surface hot air soldering. May be in NZ there are boards available, but there were no boards available to repair mine.

You do have a work around in that you could use an external switcher and RIAA preamp to the right and left multichannel inputs. I suspect your only other option is to replace that 7705. I don't suppose your prices in NZ have changed as you don't have a certifiable lunatic running your country.

However Sound United are not a stable entity at this time in my view. However I am going to take a chance on an AVP 10 if I can get one. However the cost may be prohibitive.

If I can't find a suitable unit, I will go to an all Quad vintage analog system and use my HTPCs for streaming.

At the moment, my 7706 is working fine, after that turn on spark that seems to have remade a bad solder connection. I can not begin to guess how permanent it will be.

At the moment I am not very happy with Sound United or that lunatic known as "Trump".
