You're correct, but he didn't ask about the balanced one. Only MiniDSP vs MiniDSP HD. Those are usually the options people consider because they have RCA jacks unlike the balanced version which does not.
Yeah, but the balanced one is still a minidsp 2x4, just one of three choices. Different connectors, true. I have one each of the balanced and unbalanced, but would like to have a 2x4HD
