Hey! My good buddy 3db.

For that much scratch I would not look at Denon. I rather the quality of a Bryston with in aninsudtry leading warranty. If one is to pay that much money, there had better be more than a minimalist warranty coverage. ;)
Hi 3db, nice to see you again my friend! :)

Well, $15,000 is the suggested manufacturer's price.
You and I, we know of course that the street price is closer to $10,000 anyway. ;)

Bryston; I'm all in. :) Plus with the warranty... :)
But do they make a ten-channel power amplifier? Or do you need two of them? And for how much? (Street price of course, or the used market.)

Also, do they make a Pre/Pro as sophisticated as the Denon AVP-A1HDCI?
Or would it be better to go with the Anthem Statement D2V/ARC1 instead?

* And from prior: http://hometheatermag.com/preampprocessors/1206anthem/

* Or about this one for much less money:

What da ya think? ;)

P.S. By the way, tell Frank (Franin) about this; or Gene for that matter. ;)

What's going on???

Now, this is too much! I worked very hard to make this thread an invaluable resource of information, with great links.

It is a Reference Thread, that many people, including myself, used often to pinpoint excellent sources for help in all questions related to Audio and Video.

But, if by deleting my posts, is a way of objecting to it, by dismantling what's good; then it is a serious miscalculation.

* Do you know how many days of research goes into this? I worked my heart off to provide the best there is.

** I ask whoever deleted my posts (38 of them alltogether), to please restore them. I'll restrict myself to a reasonable post count from now on.
I'll spent more time with my wife and cats. :)

*** Sounds like a reasonable deal?

Onkyo TX-NR1007 A/V Receiver with Network feature, test review.

It's hard to know which post(s) was(were) deleted; but I know this review was.
So, here it is again for the benefit of all.

* Onkyo TX-NR1007 A/V Receiver with Network test review:
-> The TX-NR1007 has two caps, rated at 18,000 uF each.
It weights 51.8 lbs, and has a maximum power consumption rating of 11.6 Amperes.
You can get this excellent receiver for $999 USA (street).

P.S. I'll have to revisit many threads and pages as to find out which of my posts were deleted, because most of them are important to the audio & video community. Very time consuming indeed.

I work long hours & days on my posts, so it's no fun at all to research my work all over again, because of these deletions.

* By the way, the Onkyo TX-NR5007 can be had for only $1,599 USA! :):D

Pioneer Elite SC-LX90 (SC-09) A/V Surround Receiver.

* First, from my post above, I would like to add that the Dacs in the Onkyo TX-NR1007
are the Burr-Brown PCM-1796A, and that the're six (6 Stereo Dacs) of them.
Also, the video processor is the Faroudja Cinema VP.

** Now, the Pioneer Elite SC-09 (SC-LX90 in the UK) Flagship Top of the Line A/V Surround Receiver:

--> The USA model weights 70.5 lbs.

~~ Very nice indeed. :)

Simple note.

Recently I noticed several people asking questions where the answers are already contained in this thread right here.

I was wondering if this could be made available to them. Thank you for your understanding and your continued support. We're all in it for the same reasons.
