hey i'm not a newbie to HIFI just to posting so maybe beginners luck will work out for me?

I could use HDMI switching and second zone remote

speaking of HDMI WHY wont COMAST (i'll keep it clean) make there boxes with hdmi work with receivers? directv and dish work fine! granted i haven't tried wow or the other providers in other areas but COMAST the big the bold the monster calbe company makes us deal with BS all the time!
