1) What are the most important things you look for in a piece of AV furniture? (please list at least 2)
Finish that matches my speakers (real wood venear?), wife appeal (not too bulky or stocky), and accessories (fans, cable runs, slide out shelves, etc.)

2) Have you ever purchased a dedicated piece of AV furniture? Yes.
If yes, was StudioTech one of the brands you considered? Yes, considering for this summer. Why or why not? Excellent functionality, but Wife acceptance a hurdle due to the build. Maybe not quite "dainty" enough for her, but I'm working on it. She showed me some designs she liked from Pottery Barn, but they're not functional.
What were the deciding factors when you made your final decision? Not yet made.

Contest Questions:
1) What are the most important things you look for in a piece of AV equipment furniture? (please list at least 2)
Real wood (not necessary) - but light, enough space for components to "breathe", easy access to cabling, overall good look.

2) Have you ever purchased a dedicated piece of AV equipment furniture?
Yes

*If yes, was StudioTech one of the brands you considered? Why or why not?
I did not know the StudioTech brand at the time.

*What were the deciding factors when you made your final decision? At the time - it was price, and the compatibility with my other IKEA-light-style furniture.

Currently the StudioTech PS-3 B/B is *very* close to what I need
but 3" too wide and I really could use castors

1. Quality construction, price, warranty/guarantee, and functionality, in that order.

2. Yes. I didn't know of StudioTech at the time, so I did not consider it. The deciding factor ended up being price for me.

Not really. I have a small center for my A/V equipment but it's an el-cheapo, Sauder setup.

Clear access to the equip cables.
How many components can the furniture handle.

2) Have you ever purchased a dedicated piece of AV furniture? No
If yes, was StudioTech one of the brands you considered? Why or why not? No reason, just did not see the one I liked
What were the deciding factors when you made your final decision? I made my decision based on clear access to the equipment cables on the number of components the furniture could handle.
