I would try to get something different like a software for cataloging and organizing DVDs and CDs such as DVD Profiler. I'd go for the premium version of course, I'm not that cheap!

Offer to spend a day helping to set up their system (interconnects, speaker placement, path switching for "blind" listening tests, fishing wire, etc.).

I would also offer my help in using the meter to make the system sound as good as I could help make it.

Considering they probably already do, some nice new speaker wires come to mind. Changing them up once in a while is always a good idea, and fairly cheap compared to the rather limited other options.
