How many of them have crappy sound systems built-in? All of them are crappy compared to a decent stereo.
How many of them are connected to an external audio system? All 3 have an external system. 1 is to a home theater system, the other 2 are hooked to budget systems.
Do you own, or intend to buy, a stand-alone iPod speaker system? No. I have an Iphone, so and Ipod sounds redundant. I use the phone as a phone because I have a Zune and it holds way more music than my Iphone, but I usually only use headphones or my Sync in my truck when i listen to it.

Currently only one. But plan on getting another one since wife hogs the tv.

My panasonic plasma has absolutely horrible sound, slightly better than a typical laptop. Wife thinks the sound is fine though.

My plasma was connected to a home theater system but just sold it because looking to upgrade to better system.
