Contest Question: Please rank the following 5 facets of image quality, as related to front projection systems, in order of importance to you:
Color accuracy
Brightness
Contrast
Artifact-free image (no “sparklies” or “graininess” imparted by the screen itself)
Viewing angle (the uniformity of brightness from various viewing positions)
1. Brightness. It all starts here with non-light controlled environment.
2. Contrast. Second only to brightness is delivering a stunning picture.
3. Color accuracy. This I feel should be a given for any screen.
4. Artifact-free image. There is probably nothing more annoying when watching a movie than some gloppy thing in the field of view.
5. Viewing angle. Most viewing is done from fairly straight on...I'd guess in almost all FP home theaters.
