EMP ECA-4 Series 5.0 vs other *Need Help*

Hi all.

Hoping to get some clarification and some help. Moved from townhouse to a House so I wish to upgrade my HTIB I used in a smaller area. (Samsung HT-TX72...dont laugh)

Going over the Barebones system listed on this site (not updated since January) I am looking actually at getting the Yamaha V465 and was looking at the EMP ECA-4 Series 5.0 that are listed. I'm a little hesitant since I do not seem to be able to find these speakers anywhere else. Do I have an incorrect item name? Are they only sold one place?

Most importantly, am I looking at a huge sound upgrade? I know that's a very newb question but I really am looking for something that will sound crisp and clean and not have what sometimes seems like a muffled center channel.

Speakers also cannot be large.

So in order my questions (Was planning $500 for the speakers, $3-400 for receiver and $1-200 for the subwoofer)
1) Do they sell the EMPS anywhere else and/or anything betttr for the price range?
2) How much better is a system like this vs what I have
3) Any other advice

Thanks for the quick response!

I am looking now at f300 5.1 package since the size of the bookshelf speakers will keep my wife happy. That also puts me right in the right area with a subwoofer. And I am assuming that this should blow my htib out the window and into the lake right?
