We all have some. i"m not talking about stuff you bought and never listen to, but the kind of music you're actually ashamed that you own and listen to... the kind of music that you'll belt out along with while driving and suddenly hit pause on at the stop light so no one knows. The kind of disc, that you'll pull out every once in a awhile when no ones home or you're driving alone... gimme five... since I know each of you have at least that many. I'll go first...

1) N'sync
2) Backstreet Boys
3) Spice Girls
4) Barry Manilow
5) ABBA

... oh my GOD! I"M SOOOOO SORRY!!!! I'm such a p*ssy!

Best of Bose setup disk

"Best of Bose" setup or demo disc or something like that

Please don't kill me, I'm just the messenger,

Ha ha someone has an nsync disc....:D:D:D ABBA oh my god Chris you are so right with your last sentence....:D J/K bud all my shameful discs are now in my daughters collection.

I have a terabyte and a half worth of music, and plenty of stuff that is pretty wack.

As far as in the record bag I have Michael Gray's "The Weekend" on 12":

Don't worry, I've never played it out (not even my genre) and I'm not exactly sure how, if or when I bought it. Maybe a dancerecords.com promo or something? 2005 that tune was massive, still hear it now and again out. Probably the cheesiest thing I have ever heard. I should use the record as a placemat.

I do not listen to any of these albums anymore. Now that I look back at it I can't believe I bought any of these disks, except for Doggystyle:).

Okay... Metallica? Nothing wrong with that. Cranking Dancing Queen in the car... and singing along ... something completely different. That's real shame my friend. Real shame.

1. Peaceful music for sleep.
2. Disco's greatest hits.
3. Organ music
4. The Oddysey as read by Sir Ian McKellen
5. Britney Spears greatist hits

If I listened to any of that music around my friends I would be made fun of (except for maybe Snoop Dog);). I find it is relative to who you are around. All of my buddie have very common interests when it comes to music.

Meatloaf "Bat Out Of Hell" is embarrasing? Whoa dude. That album is huge with some amazing music on it. I would never put it in the same class with the others you have listed.

Me either Chris I am just a guy who has a bunch of famous friends. And that does not make me cool at all....being a musician well...that makes me a little cool right???:D:cool:

I bought Britney Spears' In the Zone on DVD-A. I'm not much into her music, but the multi-channel mix is simply amazing. The thing is, I'm too embarassed to crank the volume like I do with most of my other music!

cheers,
supervij

Who among us doesn't have a few embarrasing clunkers? I've got a Best of Neil Diamond, but aside from that one, I won't admit to anything worse than that.;)

I had to go shopping with my wife to find the best of Neil Diamond...LAST MONTH. I can't blame that on having it lying around for no reason.;)

Disco Wife has an entire collection of potentially embarrassing music. I'm in the habit of just letting her listening to whatever she wants whenever she wants. I'm no stranger to Donna Summer or the Bee Gees.

Earth, Wind and Fire is my own dirty little secret. Some of the old ballads are pretty schmaltzy when you stop and think about them, but I can't help myself. Some of it is...well...disco. There, I said it. When I'm alone, I listen to EWF's disco phase. It's a Boogie Wonderland everybody.:D

Madonna - Immaculate Collection (In my defense it is fairly well recorded and a few tracks make for good demo music)

All of my rap cd's excluding Ice Cube & Snoop Dogg
