The speakers are not well known or mentioned, however the word on them is good. They are selling for $129 a pair -- and use to sell for $269 a pair. Do not know how long it will last. You have the choice of 2 finishes.

A nice subjective review here.

NewEgg has them for $207 and Walmart for $262 -- it seems that Amazon and Creative Labs have them for the $129 price.

E-MU used to be a really cool computer audio company before Creative Labs bought them out a long time ago. I didn't know any speakers were produced under their banner. My guess is this speaker is some rebadged import from some Chinese OEM. That doesn't necessarily mean its a bad speaker, however.

They could very well be some type of rebadge -- for $99 worth the check and I want to look inside -- if they really burn my ears, then they are going back ... I like looking for somewhat decent options for the $100 down range .... at least they have a little bit of weight to them
