The company I posted is very reputable. I have bought about 2500 of those discs from them. I have just started trying the 8X Riteks. But I find the Purple Pack 4X have the least errors. The quality control issues the other poster was speaking of, is more than likely the Bulk packs (usually red color packs) and these are of different quality and most have a different manufacturing code. So stay away from the bulk packs, usually this is the case with most brands. The have the least quality control on those discs....
Hope all of this has steered you into a correct direction. Remember I am a novice due to the fact I have only used about 20-25 brands. Others have used 100 brands and search for the best media at the best price. I had stopped at Riteks, for the price and quality. There are better ones, but at 4xplus times the price of these. You could try the G05's if you want to burn a little faster, But even these I burn at 4x.......
The Tayio's I used did burn at 16x. But then quality burns were starting to become an issue. You should try an error check program after a burn. You will not need to do this with the whole 100 pack. Just a few, the rest will be the same as long as they were burnt under the same conditions. (Speed, running programs, etc..)
